Use of initials may delay receipt of funds by the beneficiary.IBAN numbers for beneficiaries with accounts in Jordan must be included for payments in all currencies.Beneficiary Bank (SWIFT MT103 F5 ... 7): Include SWIFT BIC with branch identifier (where required), full name, and address of the beneficiary bank. SWIFT BIC is 8 or 11 alphanumeric characters: xxxxJOxx or xxxxJOxxxxx.Reason for Payment (SWIFT MT103 F70 A): A 4-digit payment code and a description of the purpose of payment is mandatory for cross-currency payments. IBAN: In Jordan, the IBAN consists of 30 characters. The structure is: 2 letters for the country code ("JO"), 2 check digits, 4 characters for the bank code, 4 digits for the branch code, and 18 alphanumeric characters for the account number. Example: JO98ABCD7654321987123456789123.
