If you have tracked your cross-border payment here on Ohmyfin, you can receive the following basic statuses for your payment:
In some cases, additional details may accompany these statuses from specific banks involved in the route of the payment, such as: Delivered to Next Bank, Settlement Completed, Settled, or Sent to Manual Processing.
In addition to the status, you will receive the date of the last update, which indicates when the most recent action was performed on the payment.
If you are the sender of the payment and have requested the status from your bank, which holds membership in SWIFT GPI *, you can typically receive a detailed picture of the chain of banks involved, along with their respective statuses.
This information is uniquely available to SWIFT GPI * members which were involved in the transaction and can only be obtained by the sender from their financial institution if it is a SWIFT GPI * member. In some cases, the beneficiary may see limited information as well. It is not possible to access this data through other sources, including employees of banks that were not part of the transaction. We do not provide SWIFT GPI * tracing and are limited to the basic tracking functionality described above.
