Sanctions designation — transaction must be blocked or frozen
Czech Republic National Sanctions List, maintained by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MZV), designates 21 persons and entities subject to Czech autonomous asset freezes and transaction blocks, used for cross-border payment screening and EU-aligned trade compliance checks.
Czech Republic National Sanctions List (Vnitrostátní sankční seznam) is maintained by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MZV) of the Czech Republic. This list contains individuals and entities subject to Czech national sanctions under Act No. 1/2023 Sb. on restrictive measures against certain serious acts applied in international relations (Sankční zákon/Czech Sanctions Act).
The Czech national sanctions list is separate from and supplements EU sanctions. It primarily targets individuals and entities related to the Russian aggression against Ukraine who are not yet covered by EU-level sanctions. Designations are made by government resolution and include asset freezes, financial restrictions, and travel bans.
The list currently contains mostly Russian citizens and entities connected to supporting or facilitating Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Each designation includes detailed descriptions of the punishable conduct, references to EU regulation provisions, and specific restrictive measures applied.
