Payment Instructions

General instructions for international payments to banks in MAURITIUS:

For payments to Mauritius, it is important to include detailed information to ensure smooth processing. Obtain all required bank information from the beneficiary including SWIFT BIC, IBAN, and beneficiary bank address. For more details, you can refer to the central bank at www.bom.mu.Ordering Customer (SWIFT MT103 F50): Include the account number, full name (no initials), and address of the ordering customer. Avoid using initials as it can delay the receipt of funds by the beneficiary.Beneficiar ... y Customer (SWIFT MT103 F59): Include the account number (IBAN), full name (no initials), and address of the beneficiary customer. IBAN numbers for accounts in Mauritius must be included in the payment instructions.Beneficiary Bank (SWIFT MT103 F57): Include SWIFT BIC with branch identifier if required, full name, and address of the beneficiary bank. IBAN: In Mauritius, IBAN numbers must be included in payment instructions for beneficiaries. The IBAN structure is MU2!n4!a2!n2!n12!n3!n3!a, with a length of 30 characters. For example: MU12 ABCD 3456 7891 2345 6789 123M UR.

Correspondent Banks

Standard Settlement Instructions (SSI) contain the list of correspondent banks for each currency.

Payment Tracking

To track a SWIFT cross-border payment to or from SWAN SECURITIES LTD, you need a UETR code, reference number, amount, payment date, and currency. This information is typically found in an MT103 form.
