Poland sanctions for MSWiA National Sanctions
Polish National Sanctions List is maintained by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration (MSWiA) following the Act on Special Solutions for Counteracting Support for Aggression against Ukraine and Protecting National Security, signed by President Duda on 14 April 2022. This law enables Poland to impose additional national sanctions beyond EU measures, targeting Russian oligarchs and entities whose activities benefit the Russian economy and authorities.
The list includes major Russian companies like Gazprom, Novatek, PhosAgro, Kaspersky Group, KAMAZ, and Severstal, as well as entities that imported Russian coal from Donbas. Sanctions include freezing all funds and economic resources, prohibition on providing funds or resources to listed entities, and exclusion from public procurement. Fines up to PLN 20 million can be imposed for non-compliance.
The list is published in the Public Information Bulletin of MSWiA. Official announcement: MSWiA Sanctions List.
This is a high-priority sanctions list. Entities on this list are typically subject to full blocking/freezing measures. U.S. persons and entities under applicable jurisdiction are generally prohibited from dealing with listed parties. Assets may be frozen and all transactions are typically blocked.
