Talk us through your banking setup and we will write it up properly: what your payments actually cost, how long they really take, who sits in the middle of them, and what you could be doing instead. Built from the data we hold on banks, fees and payment routes. Yours to keep, at no charge.
This one is built for companies. Sending a personal transfer of your own? Follow your payment here instead.
An account opened for one reason years ago, a second one added for a customer who insisted, a currency nobody renegotiated. It works, so nobody looks at it. Meanwhile the money leaves slower and lighter than it needs to.
And you have nothing to compare it against. Not the schedule your own bank publishes, not what a comparable bank down the road publishes, and not the charges other banks deduct from the payment on its way through.
It is a shrug. It does not tell you whether your corridor is genuinely slow, whether your own bank is the slow leg, or whether you keep missing a cut-off by twenty minutes.
Your payment is handed between correspondent banks you never chose and rarely see. Each one has its own cut-offs, its own calendar, and its own appetite for asking questions.
Until the day an account is frozen for review, a corridor closes, or a director changes passport. Then the fallback you never built becomes the only thing that matters.
Ohmyfin exists because cross-border payments are opaque, so we spent years building the data that makes them less so. All of it goes into your report. Here is what that means, piece by piece.
Bank identifier records for institutions and their branches in more than 230 countries and territories, the group and ownership links between them (over 24,000 parent relationships), and the settlement instructions banks publish for each currency. That last part is the interesting one: it is how we can tell which correspondent your money is handed to before it reaches the other side.
Published tariff schedules for more than 3,000 banks across 67 countries: outbound transfer charges, the difference between what a retail customer pays and what a corporate one does, and the lifting fees that intermediaries deduct in transit. A payment can arrive short without your bank ever charging you for it, and this is where that shows up.
We have followed more than 220,000 cross-border payments to completion, which lets us state a typical arrival window for thousands of specific bank-to-bank corridors instead of a generic promise. Timings are projected onto the banking calendar of the currency involved, so weekends, local holidays and cut-offs are already counted. Every figure states how many payments stand behind it.
Sanctions and watchlist data covering more than 300 global lists, country-by-country payment rules across 158 currencies, and the format requirements that quietly get payments returned: a purpose code a country insists on, a beneficiary address a bank will not accept, a reference field that triggers a manual read.
No dataset covers everything. When your banks or corridors sit outside what we measure well, we research them in public sources and in what we have learned from earlier participants, and we label those parts of the report as researched rather than measured. You will always be able to tell which is which.
All of the above, pointed at your banks and your corridors.
One document, written for a finance team rather than a marketing funnel. It is meant to be forwarded to your CFO, argued with, and used as ammunition the next time you sit down with your bank.

The banks, entities, currencies and corridors you actually use, laid out in one picture, with the correspondent chain we believe sits behind each one.
Your charges next to the published schedules of comparable banks in the same country and currency, including the fees deducted along the route that never appear on your statement.
Your corridors against measured arrival windows, with the leg that costs you the days identified, and the cut-offs worth moving your payment run around.
The corridors that attract compliance holds, the counterparty and jurisdiction combinations that need extra care, and the constraints your own structure puts on you, from directorships to where you are incorporated.
Other banks worth approaching in the jurisdictions you already operate in, where netting or a multi-currency account changes the arithmetic, when an FX broker beats your bank, and when a second banking relationship is simply insurance worth buying.
A short ordered list, cheapest and quickest changes at the top. Some of it is a conversation with your existing bank rather than a new one, and we will say so.
One conversation is all it takes to get this written for your company.
There is no form with forty fields and no discovery call. You talk, we research, you get a document.
Our assistant walks you through it in plain language: your banks, your corridors and currencies, the payments that went wrong, the limits you are working around. Roughly twenty minutes, and you can be as specific or as guarded as you want to be.
Your answers are checked against our bank, fee and timing data, the gaps are researched in public sources, and the whole thing is reconciled into findings rather than a data dump. That takes about an hour, and it is the part we are actually spending on you.
A written audit in your inbox, with the reasoning shown so your team can check it rather than take it on faith. Disagree with a finding and tell us why, and you will have done us a favour.
We can only run a limited number of these properly, so we would rather you self-select than spend twenty minutes finding out it was not for you.
Recognise your company in the first list? Then it is worth twenty minutes.
We track cross-border payments for a living, so we see the moment one goes wrong in enormous detail. What we see much less of is everything around it: the account opened years ago for a reason nobody remembers, the fee schedule nobody renegotiated, the corridor that was never tried because someone assumed it would not work.
That is the part we want to understand, and honestly it is worth more to us than a fee would be. You get a report either way, whether or not you ever become a customer.
Yes. There is no payment step, no card details and no obligation. You do need an account with us, because one audit is run per registered participant, but creating an account costs nothing.
About twenty minutes of conversation. Everything after that is on us, and we come back to you only if something in your answers genuinely needs clarifying.
The more concrete you are, the more useful the report is, because our data is organised by specific banks and specific corridors. If something is too sensitive to share, leave it out and describe the shape of the problem instead. We will work with what you give us and say plainly where a gap limited the analysis.
Then we research them. Our reference data on banks is broad, but published fee schedules and measured timings are denser in some markets than others. Where we are relying on research rather than measurement, the report says so on the finding itself.
About an hour, delivered by email. The research runs after the conversation rather than during it, so the report is not instant, but you will not be waiting on us for days either.
We use them to build your report and to learn where cross-border banking hurts, which is the reason we are running the study at all. Findings we publish later are aggregated and stripped of anything identifying. See our سياسة الخصوصية for the formal version.
No. It is a working document meant as a starting point for your own decisions. Ohmyfin builds software for cross-border payments. We are not a licensed financial institution, a law firm or an auditor, so take anything structural to your own advisers before acting on it.
One audit per company is the idea, since the second one would tell us the same things. If your group runs genuinely separate treasury operations in different regions, tell the assistant and we will look at it as one report with several setups in it.
Tell us how your company moves money and we will tell you where it is losing time and money on the way. Nothing to pay, nothing to cancel.
